The Wheel & Compass is a family run pub which provides a warm welcoming environment whether you are a regular or visiting for the first time.
Jo, Andy, Luke and the rest of the ‘Key’ family invite you to visit their traditional Pub/Restaurant where they pride themselves on serving up good wholesome home cooked food and a range of fine cask ales.
Set in the heart of the Welland Valley, they use local suppliers for their produce delivering fresh food every day.
Their menu is varied and priced accordingly so as to suit everybody’s requirements.
For those who want something a little different, the chef’s special board which changes on a daily basis provides a range of seasonal dishes such as venison, partridge, pheasant and grouse.
If it is just a drink you require then the ‘poachers’ bar is the place for you. It serves a minimum of 6 real ales with one of these being a guest beer from around the country changing every week. With a range of fine wines and a good selection of lagers and soft drinks all is set for an enjoyable drink in the oldest part of the building.
For the families the pub provides a very spacious garden with equipment that will entertain the kids for hours. Baby changing facilities are available in the ladies toilets whilst wheelchair access can be found through the main entrance to the restaurant.
The pub is open 7 days a week from 12noon through to 11pm and 10.30pm on Sunday’s. Food is served all day every day right up to 9pm with this being extended to 10pm on Friday and Saturday’s.
